Kindness trumps greed: it asks for sharing. Kindness trumps fear: it calls forth gratefulness and love. Kindness trumps even stupidity, for with sharing and love, one learns - Marc Estrin
December 11th 2008, Waterloo, Ontario, Canada: It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Dale Marcell. Dale's joie d'vivre affected the many who crossed his path drumming while sharing his message of kindness, mercy, love, caring and respect to each other. From toddlers in strollers to seniors in wheelchairs Dale lifted their spirits up to the heavens. He spoke to the youth and the young at heart about the joy of opportunity, encouraging all to take the risk and become successful in life. He worked tirelessly to raise the quality of life's experience amongst the downtrodden and the forgotten. He lived in the moment, in the presence of the Divine as a constant reminder to all about the art of the possibility for positive change to each and every life. Dale will be dearly missed by his dear wife Chris, his beloved son Nate and the apple of his eyes daughter Katie. There are many others who will feel Dale's passing, from the Seniors to the Campers of all ages and faiths. Dale's funeral prayer (Janaza) was held at Waterloo Masjid on December 14th 2008, Waterloo, Ontario, Canada after Evening prayer (Isha) which began at 7:30 p.m. God be with you Dale.
